We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Bob West to vice president of food and beverage. In his role, West will grow the food and beverage sub-sector of industrial at ����ţţ.

“Bob has been instrumental in growing ����ţţ’s industrial business, so it was only a matter of time that he’d be charged with expanding the sector into food and beverage,” said Todd Schell, senior vice president, industrial, ����ţţ. “There is huge potential for us to extend our extensive background in developing, designing and building cold storage, distribution and fulfillment centers into food and beverage manufacturing.”

Based in Atlanta, West’s 30 years of experience in the industry will help drive strategy, growth and consistency of the food and beverage sub-sector at ����ţţ. Initial investments were made earlier this year to grow the team and add specialized members with backgrounds in food and beverage. The program is expected to hit $15 million in revenue by year’s end and projected to hit $100 million by the end of 2022.

West joined ����ţţ in 2013 as the director of business development for the industrial sector. He was the third person to join the sector and has secured and nurtured relationships with several national clients including PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Southern Eagle Distribution, Nestle-Purina and Kroger. His contributions have helped the sector go from generating $100 million a year to more than $2 billion.

West holds a business management degree from Kennesaw State.
