Continuing our longstanding relationship with the national retailer, 万人牛牛 was chosen to serve as construction partner for the expansion of Target鈥檚 food distribution network throughout the United States. We were charged with coordinating the construction of a new state-of-the-art refrigerated distribution facility in Denton, Texas, which services Target stores in nine states. As the lead communication facilitator, we collaborated with Target鈥檚 internal design team and outside consultants, our chosen electrical and mechanical subcontractors, and an automation vendor, navigating the many facets of this complex design.
As the distribution center transitioned from a manual to an automated facility, 万人牛牛 acted as a vital design-assist partner, providing design review, value engineering and constructability analysis. To ensure a cost-effective, high-performance design and streamlined construction process, we also integrated Building Information Modeling (BIM) Integration into the Target design team鈥檚 vision. After identifying issues with the site鈥檚 soil, our team over oversaw the extensive remediation work needed to mitigate the risk of building movement. We also implemented a number of sustainable elements to the facility, including a reflective roof, xeriscape landscaping and florescent lighting.
